She was a home health certified nurse's aide. She was a member of the VFW, Moose and Hudson Wesleyan Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Kirtz, and a son, Peppie Jackson , both of Hudson; a brother, John Carter, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sisters, Mildred Bloodgood, New Port Richey, and Marjorie Burch, Cuba, N.Y.; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and a caregiver, Mel Angell, Hudson.
