John Galey of Boulder died of liver and kidney complications Sunday, June 27, 2004, in Lafayette. He was 46.
The son of Thomas H. Galey and Mary Hindman Galey, he was born March 3, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He moved to Boulder in 1970 from New York.
Mr. Galey graduated from the Colorado Springs School, Creighton University and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was an artist.
"John was kind and considerate. He worked with the handicapped and enjoyed his participation with the Winter Park handicapped ski programs," family members said.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. today at Chautauqua Park, 900 Baseline Road, Boulder.\
