Mrs. Nancy Leona Gibbs, age 51, of Stewart Street, Carrollton, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007. She was born May 12, 1956 in Hughs County, Oklahoma to Eva Marilyn Wade Pierce and Thomas J. Russell, Sr. Mrs. Gibbs was a homemaker enjoying reading, sewing, needle craft, and collected pig figurines. She was a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband, Charley F. "Chuck" Gibbs; a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie Marie & Ben Gergens of Norman, Oklahoma; her father, Thomas J. Russell, Sr. of Cyril, OK; her mother, Eva Marilyn Wade Pierce of Carrollton, GA; a sister, Laura Ann Schuh of Auburn, CA; a brother, Thomas James "Tommy" Russell, Jr. of Liberty, Indiana; a grandchild, Willow Marie Gibbs; a half sister, Mary Beaudoin of Sherman, Oregon. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 2 PM from Concord Cemetery with Pastor Shae Tallent officiating.
