Mr. Samuel Ash, age 92, of Montevallo, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 15, 1998. Mr. Ash was born May 29, 1905, in Talladega County, Alabama and was a retired foreman in the construction business. He was a member of Little Cedar Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Ash; a sister, A. B. Pratchard; and two brothers, Bruce Ash and Macon Ash. Survivors include two sisters, Faye Madison of Cedartown and Hazel Byrd of Lebanon Missouri; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside service for Mr. Ash was held Tuesday, March 17, 1998 at 2 p.m. from Sanders Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Rice officiating. Interment followed in Sanders Cemetery. Gammage Funeral Home of Cedartown was in charge of the arrangements
