Arlene Fay Johnson, 44, of 843 Eighth Ave., Longview, died May 27, 1982, after a
long illness in a local hospital. A lifelong area resident, she was born April
15, 1938, at Longview. She lived in Castle Rock for a number of years before
returning to Longview three years ago. She was a member of the Longview Eagles
Auxilliary.
She is survived by her husband, George D. Johnson at home; two daughters and
their husbands, Mr and Mrs Steve (Georgiena) Reynolds of Orchards, Wash., Mr and
Mrs Donny (Lila) Namock of Kelso; her father and stepmother, Mr and Mrs Arwood
Mattson of Longview; her mother, Lenora Billings of Kelso; a sister Doreen
Darling of Kennewick, Wash; a brother, Gary Mattson of Kennewick, Wash; her
mother-in-law, Lila Bebe of Castle Rock; three grandsons, two granddaughters;
and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whittle-Hubbard Cemetery, Castle
Rock, with the Rev W.C. Thurman officiating. The family requests that memorials
go to the Northwest Kidney Center at Seattle. Hubbard Funeral Home of Castle
Rock is in charge of arrangements.
