Alice MacEntee Daly, a lifelong area resident, died Saturday at the Norwalk Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was 93.

Mrs. Daly was born Oct. 9, 1898, to the late Bernard and Anne Hand MacEntee.

She graduated from the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Hartford.

For more than 10 years she worked as a nurse with the Stamford Health Department.

She was a longtime member of St. John Roman Catholic Church of Noroton and its Senior Group.

Mrs. Daly was predeceased by her husband, William L. Daly, in 1984; and by 12 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Anne Brown of Darien and Pat Urell of Norwalk; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 19:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. John Roman Catholic Church, Noroton. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Darien.
