She was a Marinette High School graduate, Class of 1973.
As a young adult, she moved to California, where she received all of her advanced education.
Marcy was a graduate of the University of California-Los Angeles and earned a doctorate in psychology at the Honolulu Veterans Affairs office.
In August of 2001, she was married to Al Alamodin.
Marcy is survived by her husband, Al Alamondin;
two daughters: Angela (Johnny)Black and Nikki (Charlie) Hoey, both of California;
their father Scott Black of Menominee, MI;
her mother Marian Ruatti of Marinette, WI;
two brothers: Jon (Sandra) Ruatti of Allouez, WI and Richard Podoski of Marinette, WI;
five grandchildren; nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Ruatti; an maternal aunt Elaine Butman and and maternal uncle Robert Larson.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 am November 25, 2006 at Kalihiwai Bay, where a celebration of her life will be at 10 am.
Arrangements for a memorial service in Marinette will be announced at a later date.
