Karin Ann Simpson of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Carolinas Continue CARE Hospital in Pineville.
Karin was born November 26, 1943 in Germany to the late Thomas and Oma Zimmerer. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Stirwald.
There will be a private family service at Salisbury National Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Brantley Simpson; son, Thomas Lee Simpson and wife Rita; and daughter, Sandra Davis and husband Ben.

Karin was a wonderful wife, a loving mother, and a doting grandmother and great grandmother.
Karin was also a caring, kind, and helpful friend and a great neighbor to many. She loved to cook, spend time with her family and friends, and was a huge animal lover.
Spreading a little caring and kindness is a great way to honor Karin because she did so much for others including strangers.
