Linda Kay Macklberg Acree
Mrs. Acree, age 65, of Dickson, TN died suddenly July 21, 2020 at TriStar Medical Center.
She was born in Denver, Colorado July 6, 1955. She was the daughter of the late James Charles and Margaret Ruth Allen Macklberg. She has been married to Graham Acree for 42 years. Linda was a faithful member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ family.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and they were her all. She really loved the grandchildren and would always be seen loving and coddling them during church services. Linda loved cats, loved putting puzzles together, watching hummingbirds and in early years she and Graham would take train watching excursions.
She is survived by her husband, Graham Acree of Dickson, TN, her three children, Marilyn Acree Sensing and her husband, David of Dickson, TN, Amy Acree Stanfield and her husband, Derek of Hernando, MS and Bertram Acree of Dickson, TN, her three grandchildren, Lucus Sensing, Briella Stanfield and Zoey Stanfield, her two sisters, Judy Whithan of Portland, OR and Betty Burks of Longmont, CO and her beloved cat Ember.
Memorial services will be conducted Thursday afternoon, July 30, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Steve Baggett will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday beginning at 12 Noon until time of service.
Entombment will take place at a later date at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
