He married Pauline Paula Gross on February 19, 1936, in Manhattan, New York. In the 1940 US Census Frank was a private in the US Army stationed at Fort Jay, New York City. He and his wife had one child a daughter named Mary Ann during their marriage. He died on August 24, 1987, in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 76, and was buried in Snellville, Georgia.
