There are no records of Sarah Andrews being buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, as it was not established until 1849. As the city expanded nearly all cemeteries were consolidated in Forest Lawn. The City of Buffalo purchased lot H-91 in 1876 and 10 burials from Potter's Field on East North Street were re-interred here by September 1887.
A likely place for the original interment was the East North Street Cemetery which was located across the street from (east of) Potter's Field. Re-interments were taking place as late as 1901. It is possible that only the monument was moved.
