Martin T. Giroir Sr., best known as Thomas, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the age of 85. He was a native Morgan City and a longtime resident of Pierre Part.
Thomas leaves to cherish his wonderful memory, his children, Rhonda Landry and her husband, Paul, of Pierre Part, Troy Giroir and his wife, Rachel Joubert of Bayou Vista, Charlene Blanchard and her husband, Adam of Pierre Part, Joe Richard and his wife, Debbie of Morgan City, Debra Vidos and her husband, Metz of Berwick, Tammy Aucoin and her husband, James of Stephensville, and Ronnie Giroir and his wife, Sherie of Stephensville; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Keller Giroir; his parents, Flortine and Virginia Giroir; two sons, Curtis Richard and Tommy Giroir; his daughter, Melinda Richard; and one grandson, Lloyd Vidos.
A time of visitation will be held for Thomas on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 8am until time of services at 10am at Hargrave Funeral Home. Following services, Thomas will be laid to rest in the Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery, in Belle River, LA.
Due to current regulations regarding limited gatherings, Hargrave Funeral Home can only accommodate 150 guests during the visitation and 50 guests during the services. All guests are required to wear masks upon entry of the funeral home in accordance with state mandates.
