Donald L. Selingo, 90, of Barnegat, N.J., passed Monday, Dec. 26, 2011. Viewing is on Thursday, Dec. 29, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass will be offered on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Interment is in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, N.J. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa., Mr. Selingo was a U.S. Navy veteran. Before moving to Barnegat 24 years ago, he resided in Edison, N.J., where he served as president of Midtown Little League for over 20 years. Employed by Breeze Eastern for 45 years, he was president of UAW Local 267 in Union, N.J., for over 20 years. Donald enjoyed over 30 years of active membership in the Musicians Association with Local 151, Elizabeth, N.J., Local 16, Newark, N.J., and Local 746, Plainfield, N.J. Predeceased by his first wife, Mary (Gardner), and a son, Donald, he is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Helen (Moyna) Cassidy Selingo; a daughter, Mary Lou and husband, Nick Lutz, of Edison; two sons and their spouses, Paul and Betty Selingo of Kendall Park, N.J., Joseph and Linda Selingo of East Brunswick, N.J.; daughter-in-law, Arlene Selingo of Marlboro, N.J.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
