Born in Manhattan, NY, he grew up in Howell and resided in Neptune before moving to Jackson 9 years ago. James was a parishioner of St. William the Abbot Church, Howell. James is survived by his wife Debra, his parents James & Kathleen McMahon, Sr., of Jackson, 3 brothers Kevin of Belmar, Bob and his wife, Tita of PA, Chris and his wife, Elsa of Jackson, 8 nieces & nephews Sydney, Sara, Amaranta, Madison, Brooke, Anthony, Joseph, Lauren, his beloved golden retriever Jack and extended family and friends. Services are private.
