Private funeral services for William E. Koons, 66, 43 South Thirteenth street, a grocer for nearly a quarter of a century, fatally stricken by a heart attack at his home last night, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home.

Burial will be in the Oberlin Cemetery. The Rev. A. S. Lehman, Derry Street United Brethren Church of which Mr. Koons was a member, will officiate. The body may be viewed at the home Monday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.

Mr. Koons, owner of a grocery store at Thirteenth and Vernon streets, had eaten supper and walked to his garage near his home. His widow, Mrs. Margaret E. Koons, found him, too ill to move, aided him to walk to their house where he died shortly after a physician had been called. Coroner Howard E. Milliken said death was caused by a heart attack.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons, Robert W., Collegeville, and Bertram F., of Wilkes-Barre; a brother, Samuel, Hanoverdale, and a grandson.

Mr. Koons was active in work of the Derry Street Church, and also belonged to the Knights of Malta.
