Born March 22, 1924 at Granville, W. Va., he was the son of Ray and Helen Whitlatch Headley, and had been a resident of the Spraggs area for most of his life, and a member of the Valley Chapel Methodist Church.
Mr. Headley was employed in the dietetic department of West Virginia University Medical Center, Morgantown, and was a member of the Laborer's International Union, AFL-CIO, 814.
He had served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and also was a member of James Maxon Post 992, American Legion at Mt. Morris.
