Barbara was born in Attica, Indiana to James and Anna Anno Townsend. She was retired from Wal-Mart and a member of North Tenth Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles and baking. Barbara loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Walters; her parents; one brother and two sisters.
Barbara leaves three children, Larry Grant and his wife Ratchadaporn of Jonesboro, Dale Walters and his wife Candy of Jonesboro and Kim Walters of Blytheville; five grandchildren, Yaovalak Somsi, Whitney Herron and her husband Trey, Nathan Walters, Jamie Rollins and her husband Kyle and Savannah Walters; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 4th at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Max Briley officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
