Mrs. Violet J. Cornwell, 52, 126 Lakeview Blvd., Manitou Beach, died Thursday afternoon at the Addison Hospital after being admitted Wednesday evening.

She was born in Baton Rouge, La., Dec. 24, 1915.

She was a member of the Mothers of World War II and the Maritou Beach Bible Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Benny Captain of Saulte Ste. Marie; mrs. Ronald Cooper and Joyce Ann Cornwell both of Jackson; four sons, Albert Jr., of Adrian; LaVon of Addison; James of Jackson; Richard of Manitou Beach; her mother, brothers, and several sisters reside in Louisiana; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 2 in the Brown Funeral Home in Addison.

The Rev. Jack Nicholson will officiate with burial in Hillside Cemetery in Addison.
