Mr. Stone died Wednesday at his residence.
He was born Feb. 24, 1902 in Kaufman county, TX. He was married to Lorene Wells on Oct. 29, 1933 in Fort Worth, TX.
He had been a Granbury resident since 1952. He was a member of the church of Christ. He retired from General Dynamics in 1962.
Survivors other than his wife include one daughter, LaFon Commander, of Odessa; one son, James H. Stone of Arlington; six grandchilren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were J. B. Dawson, Rufus Dawson, Richard Dawson, Ray Coldwell, Truman Wells and M. C. Sorrells.
