Vergie Wade Nine, 91, of Mt. Morris R.D. 1, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 1987, at the home of her sister, Mildred Baker, with whom she had made her home the past six years.
She was born December 12, 1895, in Wayne Township, near Brock, a daughter of Francis M. and Elizabeth Fox Wade.
Her entire life was spent in Wayne and Perry townships, where she was an 80-year member of Valley Chapel United Methodist Church in Brock. She was also a member of the Methodist Women of the church and the former Hoover's Run Grange.
Her husband, Albert E. Nine, died October 4, 1976.
Surviving are a sister, Mildred Blaker of Mount Morris R.D. 1, and a brother, Dewey F. Wade of Spraggs R.D. 1.
Deceased are a sister Artie Renner, and a brother, Earl Wade
