Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2019 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Born on April 14, 1944 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Admiral Dewey and Flora Clydelle Turk Aiken. He was employed with Cargill where he was a plant supervisor. Mr. Aiken was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Aiken is preceded in death by his daughter, Regina Lane Aiken.
Mr. Aiken is survived by his wife, Charlotte Aiken of Gainesville sister, Betty Suggs of Gainesville; son, 4 grandchildren, 2 nieces and other family.
