She was born to Aloysius Francis Fenwick, Sr., and Charlotte Spalding. She took her vows in the Sisters of Mercy about 1875 as a very young girl. In 1898 she joined a group of 13 sisters of the order who volunteered as nurses during the Spanish American War. She died at St. Agnes. She was originally interred at the Mount St. Agnes Convent cemetery; she was then reinterred at Woodlawn when the property was sold to USF&G in 1982.
