Dodson Rites Held Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Arrie Bell Adams Dodson 88, of Route 2, Jackson were conducted Saturday morning, May 10th, at eleven o'clock from the Chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with the Rev. Maxie Threatt officiating. Interment was in the Flat Rock Cemetery in College Park. Sherrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Tommy Stovall, Calvin Stovall, Billy Stovall, Donald Stovali, Benny Love, and Kennon Moore.
Mrs. Dodson died at Sylvan Grove Hospital on Thursday morning, May 8th. Born in Haralson County, Georgia on March 6, 1892, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin B. Adams and the late Ida Irene Harris Dodson.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E. H. Stovall and Miss Evelyn Dodson both of Jackson; one brother, Mr. A. T. Adams of Fayetteville; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
