Dolores Jean McCullough, 80, of Belle Vernon, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Palestine Regional Medical Center, Palestine, Texas. She was born on August 12, 1929, in Monongahela, a daughter of Michael and Emma Sisler Fransko. Mrs. McCullough was an active member of the Christian Center Church in Belle Vernon. She loved spending time with her family, being involved with church activities and enjoyed traveling to visit her family. She is survived by her husband of twenty four years Russell McCullough; two daughters Nettie Lazar and husband John of Charleroi, Paula McKinney and husband John of Palestine, Texas; son Walter Puhnaty, Jr. and wife Tracey of Rockledge, Florida; two step daughters Regina King and husband Ray of Homer City, Cheryl Renner and husband Gary of Huntingdon; step son Skip McCullough and wife Tomasina of Saltsburg; seventeen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; two brothers Ed Fransko of Finleyville, Paul Frankso and wife JoAnne of Chardon, Ohio; three sisters Irene Klein and husband Andy of Delaware, Sandy Derrico and husband John of Belle Vernon, Dawna Heinz and husband Gary of Washington; sister-in-law Margaret Fransko of Monongahela. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Walter Paul Puhnaty who died July 16, 1976, step son Randy McCullough, three grandchildren: Tammy and Todd Lazar and Jeff Zough, great grandson Alex Loreno, three brothers Michael, Leroy and Ronald Fransko, sister-in-law Evelyn Fransko and brother-in-law Henry White. Family and friends are invited to attend a committal service on Saturday, March 6, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the Monongahela Cemetery followed by a memorial service at noon in the Christian Center Church, Belle Vernon, with the Rev. John Derrico, pastor and brother-in-law officiating.
