Mary Alice Pintar, 70, of Washington died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at her residence.

She was born on May 19, 1937, in Peoria, Ill., to Fred M. and Ada Mae Black Krulac.

Surviving are three sons, Raymond L. Pintar of Peoria, Glenn M. (and Myrtle) Pintar of Secor, Ill., and Randy L. (and Susan) of Peoria; one daughter, Lisa A. (and Daren) Sharp of Quincy, Ill.; and four brothers, August G. Krulac, Fred E. (and Janice) Krulac, James L. (and Carol) Krulac, all of Washington, and Robert W. Krulac of Bayview Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Mary worked for Fleming and Potter in Peoria for several years and then worked at Sullivan's Supermarket in Morton and Hanssen's Le Bakery and Cafe in Peoria. She retired in 2000, after 20 years of service for Caterpillar Inc.

She was a member of Faith Christian Centre in Washington, serving as a greeter on the hospitality committee within the kitchen, helped with the nursery, participated with prayer groups and the women's roundtable and was a member of Silver Lining, all at her church. She also participated on mission trips within the church to Mexico and Arizona.

Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
