Eva Joan Anderson, 86, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, passed away on October 9, 2016 in Tulsa. She was born on February 6, 1930 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Shug Anderson and Grace (Saunders) Anderson. She married R.J. Anderson on October 30, 1945 in Columbus, Kansas. Eva enjoyed many things in her life, music, cooking, sewing and collecting cookbooks. She also enjoyed traveling whenever possible. She has lived in Oklahoma all her life and was of Cherokee heritage. Eva worked for Robinson Glass as a receptionist before retiring. A lovely lady who leaves many wonderful memories for all to remember and cherish.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Scott Jones, Billy Trent, Bryson Pahukoa, Michael Anderson, Larry Church, Miles Wayne Anderson and Wayne Church. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ellen Jones and husband, Terry of Oolagah, OK, her brother, Jim Anderson of Neosho, MO; her sisters, Darla Sue Averett__ and Ova Mae Edwards; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her husband, R.J. Anderson; her daughter, Debra Ann Purdum; her sisters, Margaret Ellen Duncan, Nelda Jean Atkins and Rossie Ann Anderson.
