Frank Conyers Young, a longshoreman and a native of Mahone Bay, died Saturday morning Feb 10,1940, at the Victoria General Hospital after a short illness. He has lived in Halifax for a number of years and was well known. His age was 53. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Scott, Harry and Gordon, three daughters, Muriel, Pearl, Gwendolyn, and two grandchildren who have made their home with their grandparents since the tragic death of their mother, Mrs. Frances Young Roche, in a fire at her home. Mr. Young also leaves his mother, Mrs. Millidge Young, Mahone Bay, a sister, Mrs. A.C. Hayford, Mahone Bay, and a brother, Linwood of Pontiac, Michigan. Funeral service will be at North Street Christian church. Interment will be in Camp Hill Cemetery.
