Helena passed peacefully at the Philip Hultar Inpatient Center, Providence RI. She was 97 years old.

Helena had been a bookkeeper for the former naragansett Brewing Co. for 6 years before she retired in 1954.
Helena was a communicant of St. Luke Church and a member of its Young at Heart Club and Golfing League. She was also a member of the Barrington Bowling League.
She is survived by two nieces; Kimberly O'Donnell of Barrington and Kristen Candon of Riverside and many other nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Howard Duffy and Margaret Duffy Appleton.
