Born in Cranston he was the son of the late Carmelo and Angelina (DiLibero) Crino. He was a WW II Navy Veteran.
John was a school teacher for the Coventry School System for 30 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Studebaker Club and was an avid Yankee fan.
He is survived by his daughter Karen A. Barcellos and her husband Frank of Johnston, his three grandchildren Frank Barcellos Jr., Robert Barcellos and Marilyn McLaughlin, and his two great-grandchildren Sarah and Mary. He was the brother of Esther Zinni of Johnston and William Crino of Florida.
He is remembered as not only being an incredible man but also a wonderful husband to his wife Pauline. He was a gentleman and as well as a gentle man.
Those who knew him best believe that he died from a broken heart. That he just missed and loved his wife so much and her passing was so hard on him.
May they find peace together in Heaven.
