David G. Allen, 73, of 1409 Lillian Avenue, Louisville, KY. formerly of Big Clifty, Ky., and a retired employee of Rainbow Bakery, Louisville, Ky. Passed away December 24, 1980 at Jewish Hospital, Louisville, Ky. / He was born May 29, 1907 in Grayson County, Ky., the son of James and Mollie Veech Allen, both deceased and was married to Pearl Haycraft Allen, who survives. / He was a member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, Louisville, Ky. / Survivors other than his widow include four daughters, Mrs. Sidney Sanders, Louisville, Mrs. Roscoe Vandyke, and Mrs. Bobby Harbison, both of Glasgow, KY., Mrs. Leon Lawson, Dayton, Ohio, two sons, Wayne and Gary Allen both of Louisville, two brothers, Wilfort Allen, Louisville, and Hubert Allen, Crestwood, Ky., two sisters, Mrs. Janie Davis, Elizabethtown, Ky. And Mrs. Earl Carby, White Mills, KY., 11 grandchildren. / Services were held December 27, 1980 at Rogers Funeral Home with burial in Antioch Cemetery.
