Melissa Kathleen Alexander, age 54 of Rome passed away Sunday August 9, 2020 in a local hospital.
Melissa was born August 25, 1965, in Floyd County a daughter of of Margaret Tanner Alexander, and the late Tifford Alexander. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandy Star Alexander, brothers, Terry Highfield, Gary Highfield, sister, Janice Reynolds.
Survivors include her husband, James Wade, son, Brandon (Brandy) Alexander, daughters, Bridgett (Sam) Reynolds, Brittney (Max) Shirley, mother Margaret Tanner Alexander brothers, Lawernce Highfield, Mark Alexander, Johnny Highfield, 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday August 12, 2020 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Buddy Floyd, officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
