Jesse Vaughn, 91, rural Jamestown, a lifelong farmer in Hendricks and Boone Counties, died Thursday, May 17 (1990) in Witham Memorial Hospital, Lebanon. The son of William and Parlee (Sandusky) Vaughn, he was born Nov. 2, 1898 in Casey County, Kentucky. He married Ora Hieston who preceded him in death Sept. 17, 1974.
Services were Sunday, May 20, in the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown. Brother Robert C. Ellenberger officiated with burial in the Lizton K of P Cemetery.
Surviving are daughters: Arlene Brownlee, Winter Garden, Florida, Geneva Woodard and Phyllis Ragsdale, both of Lebanon and Anna Lee Martin, Lizton; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Vaughn, six brothers and two sisters.
