William L. Lewis.
Death came to another aged Flushing resident Tuesday [April 7, 1936], when William L. Lewis, aged 88 years, passed away at his home. He had been ill about two weeks.
William L. Lewis was born in Pontiac, Michigan, March 2, 1851, a son of Anthony and Mary Lewis. He was married to Melissa Powell at Groveland, March 27, 1872. To them three children were born: Eddie, who died in childhood; Mrs. Lottie Burgess, and Bert, who survives. He also leaves four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Rev. R.J. Traynor will conduct a funeral service at Wheeler Funeral Home Friday afternoon at three o'clock.
