Born July 2, 1930, in Bakerton, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Shortencarrier) Cook.
Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, James E. Gauntner, who died April 11, 2017; brother, Frank Cook; and son-in-law, Edward Greenaway.
Survived by children, Sandra (Robert) Sewalish, Northern Cambria; Linda Greenaway, Northern Cambria; David (Margaret) Gauntner, Elmora; Daniel (Denise) Gauntner, Northern Cambria; Diane (Charles) Woodley, Virginia; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Formerly employed as a teacher’s aide for IU8 services.
Friends will be received from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Interment, St. Benedict Cemetery.
