On Thursday, 8-13-2020, at approximately 11:30am, Heaven gained another beautiful Angel, Mrs. Jeanette Black Langley passed away a week after suffering a stroke.
Mrs. Langley, or Mawmaw, as she was known to almost everyone, was born 6-20-1935, to Cora Elizabeth (Day) Black and Home Franklin Black, Sr. Predeceased by parents; husband, Willie Leon Langley; son, Howard Tyrone Langley; son-in-law, John Hunter, sister, Nell Patrick; brothers, Homer F. Black, Jr., Wendell Black, J. T. Black, and Carroll Black.
Survived by brother, Winford Black and sister, Ann Black; sisters-in-law, Mildred Nalley, Sylvia Black, Barbara Spriggs Black, Jeanette Cain Black; sons, Travis (Lizzette) Langley, and Tony (Pam) Langley; daughters, Theresa (Tony) Rich, Vickie Hunter, Pam (Jim) Ledbetter, Elizabeth (Bryan) Haynes; and daughter-in-law, Cynthia Langley; 25 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many honorary grand-children.
She was a wonderful light that her whole family was drawn to. Her body will be cremated. There will not be a service at this time. However, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled. Date and time to be determined. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory
