Melvin passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 in Palestine.
He was born September 7, 1948 in Nashville, Kansas to Johnny Melvin Pulliam and Irene June Williams.
Melvin was preceded in death by his wife Paula Buckley and a brother, Elbert Pulliam.
He is survived by his son, Melvin Pulliam II and wife Betty of Neches; daughters, Bonnie Blakey of Athens; beloved stepdaughters, Tanya Henderson and husband Brian of Huntsville, Honey Collins and husband Sean of Little Elm, Shelley Dudley and husband Mike of Celina, and Candace Cotton of Palestine; step son, Michael Smith; brothers, Melton Pulliam and wife Barbara of Branson, Missouri, Robert Pulliam of Venus; sisters, Anita Flynn of Elkhart, and Johna Pulliam of Springfield; thirteen grandchildren, Michelle, Savannah, Bethany, Dylan, Trevor, Aaliyah, Christopher, Alexandria, Bryley, Libby, Brielle, Cade and Colby, and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 and friends are cordially invited to visit with the family from 4 to 8 o'clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
