She is survived by her devoted sons, Paul Kip Brown and George William Abraham II, grandsons Kurt Snow, Kerry Snow, Russell Bennett and seven great-grandchildren. Also, brother in-laws Richard, Robert, and John Abraham, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
Paulette was born on November 24, 1923 in Lansing, Michigan. She graduated from Central High School in 1941 and went on to become a local fashion model. Early in her career, she received a modeling award from New York's John Roberts Powers. She was sweet lady who lived her life with grace, perseverance, and a wonderful sense of humor.
The family especially thanks Bridget LaMacchia and Comfort Keepers staff for the years of dedication and compassionate care that Paulette received.
Her memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on May 12, 2011 at Tiffany Funeral Home in Lansing, officiated by Pastor Doug Phillips of South Baptist Church. Family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Mother Teresa House and The Greater Lansing Food Bank in Paulette's name.
