William Edward Belmont, Jr., 92, of Syracuse, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away May 4, 2014 in St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Born May 4, 1922 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Smith) Belmont and attended local schools.. He was the husband of Okla Mae (Bailey) Belmont and they were married for 57 years until her passing in 2001. William was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Niagara Falls, NY. He worked as a pressmen for Moore Business Forms for 25 years and then the Carborundum Corporation for 10 years, until his retirement. After retiring he was involved and did a lot of charity work.. He is survived by his children, Jane (William C.) Adams, Barbara (Joe) Pulvino, Kirk (Judy) Belmont and Douglas (Barbara) Belmont; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Delores) Belmont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Roy, Jack and sisters, Valera and Jeanette..
