FORMULA ONE GRAND PRIX DRIVER

October 5th, 2014 Japanese Formula One Grand Prix Racing was the onset of tragedy and sorrow for Formula One fans and the Bianchi family. During a rainy gloomy day at the end of the race at Saduka, Mr. Bianchi's Marussia slid off the track and smashed into a crane picking up the Sauber of German driver, Adrian Sutil, who on a previous lap crashed in the exact spot. What a tragic day for Formula One Racing as catastrophe struck Adrian Sutil and put Jules Bianchi in a coma with severe head injuries. Emergency Crews extracted Jule's comatose body from his car while shocked and horrified fans looked on. He was examined at the Circuit Medical Centre and then transferred to the Mie General Hospital. Where he underwent emergency surgery and was then listed as being in critical condition and was then sent to Intensive Care where Nursing and doctors can give him constant medical attention. In 1969 the Bianchi family suffered loss in the same manner as Lucien Bianchi, Jule's great uncle, was killed in a crash at the Le Mans race track when his Alfa Romeo slammed into a post. This came just one year after winning the much sought after Endurance Race. In a coma since the October 5th crash, today, Saturday, July 18th, 2015, Jules would take his last breath. He is survived by his Father, Philippe, his Mother Christine and his brother Toma and sister Melanie. They were by their parent's side while they gave a statement to the press on Saturday morning. Days before Jules died, his Father told media that his son would not want to continue living if it meant he was severely disabled. Formula One will retire his number: 17. His celebration of Life Service will take place on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Sainte Reparate Cathedral in his hometown, Nice, France at 10am.
