Mr. L. E. Mayo Sr. of Tampa passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020. A Graveside service will be conducted Saturday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue with Pastor Leroy Howard, officiating. Interment will follow. Please follow the CDC guidelines. Masks are required.
Mr. L. E. Mayo Sr. was a native of Eufaula, Alabama and a resident of Tampa for 65 years. He was educated in the public schools of Eufaula, Alabama. Hee was a member of St. Matthews Missionary Baptisxt Church and retired as an Construction Worker from Florida Prestress Concrete Company.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Ezzard Mayo, Herman Mayo, Earnest Mayo, Larry Mayo, Gwen Mayo, Brenda Mayo, Lynda Mayo and Sherry Mayo; sister, Edna Pearl Blackmon; niece, Hattie Howard (Leroy); and a host grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
