Mr. L. E. Mayo Sr. was a native of Eufaula, Alabama and a resident of Tampa for 65 years. He was educated in the public schools of Eufaula, Alabama. Hee was a member of St. Matthews Missionary Baptisxt Church and retired as an Construction Worker from Florida Prestress Concrete Company.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Ezzard Mayo, Herman Mayo, Earnest Mayo, Larry Mayo, Gwen Mayo, Brenda Mayo, Lynda Mayo and Sherry Mayo; sister, Edna Pearl Blackmon; niece, Hattie Howard (Leroy); and a host grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose from 3-7 p.m., Friday, August 28, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. Published in Tampa Bay Times from Aug. 26 to Aug. 27, 2020.
