Floyd was the son of James David & Letha Geneva (Nelson) Leonard. He died at age 19.
Floyd Leonard, 15-year-old son of Mr. And Mrs. J.D. Leonard of Gravette died Friday night after a short illness. Besides his parents he is survived by six brothers. Floyd had been in ill health for many years and not being able to do the things the other boys could do spent much of his time in doing fancy work. He became very proficient at it and won several premiums at the Benton County Fair.
