Lora was born in Franklin, Indiana, the daughter of Michael and Sharon (Follis) Hofmann. Lora married Allen Haskell on July 14, 2001.

She was a 7th Grade Language Teacher at North Putnam Middle School. She gratuated from Indiana State University in 1999. Lora was a member of the Cartersburg Community Church.

Lora was a 10 year 4-H member where she took several projects to the state fair. She started a school newspaper at Indian Creek in Trafalgar In. Lora was President of the Sunshine Society as well as a foreign exchange student to Spain in 1994.

Lora was survived by her Husband, Allen Haskell, son Asa "Levi" Haskell, her[parents, Michael and Sharon Hofmann and her sister Lisa Sue Hofmann.

Her care for the children she taught and the children she met will stay with these children for the rest of their lives. She impacted them in such a positive way.

Thank you for all the positive things you taught my son and daughter. Their future is brighter because of you. You will will missed dearly.
