Paul was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a truck driver for 39 years, enjoyed camping and had attended the Methodist Church in Laclede.
He is survived by his wife Carol of the home in Marceline, two sons, Paul Edwin Stroud and Cheryl of Ashland, James William Stroud and Laiza of Granger, TX; two daughters, Delorse Irene Wilson and Richard of Fort Worth, TX and Susan Ilene Hustead and Larry of Mesa, AZ, three sisters, Mary Alice Mrak of Fort Wayne, IN; Betty Sue Standley and Dale of Bucklin, Shirley Ramalia and Jerry of Warsaw, sister-in-law Dorothy Stroud of New Boston, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, four brothers, Bill, Carl, James and Ed, and one sister Mildred O'Hair.
Military graveside services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Jacksonville. Arrangements by Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline.
