Royal Center native dies at age 94
Margaret L. Skillen Grant, 94 of Logansport, died at 9:47 PM, Sunday, December 11, 2005 in Woodbridge Health Campus. She was born October 25, 1911 in Royal Center, IN, the daughter of the late Harrison House and the late Bertha Coleman House. She was married to Ray Skillen who preceded her in death. She then married Edgar Grant, on June 6, 1972. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2002. She attended the Anoka United Methodist Chuirch. She enjoyed playing the organ for numerous churches in the Royal Center area. Her interests were knitting, traveling and doing crossword puzzles. She also was an avid Chicago Cubs Baseball fan. Margaret was a beautician in the Royal Center area. Surviving are Nephew, Thomas (Charlotte) Blinn of Winamac, IN; Step Daughter, Virginia (Boyd) Evernham of Headley, IN; Daughter-in-Law, Sandra Hulsizer of Logansport, IN; Granddaugher, Bonnie (John) Easter of Logansport, IN; 3 Grandsons, Terry Anderson, Washington, Rick (Sandy) Anderson of Logansport, IN, Jim (Beverly) Anderson of Elkhart, IN; Sister, Mary Loser of Logansport, IN; step grandson, Mike (Vickie) Evernham of Murfreesboro, TN; step granddaughter, Sandy (Jay) Cox of Bringhurst, IN; thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, a son, William Anderson; a Step-Daughter, Ann Reiff; and two sisters.

Friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 14 at the Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport, Indiana. Services will be held at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 1:00PM with Rev. Jim Abbott officiating. Interment will follow in the Royal Center Cemetery, Royal Center, IN
