Ekaterina was a russian ice skater. She won seven gold medals during her short career. She was born in Russia and gained Australian citizenship at the age of 17.

Ekaterina had been struggling with depression and epilepsy for a long time. On the 17th of July, she commited suicide by jumping out of her apartment's window, leaving behind a note saying 'I love you' She reunited with her father, who had died five years earlier.Ekaterina was a Russian Australian pair skater. With her skating partner, Harley Windsor, she was the 2017 CS Tallinn Trophy champion, the 2017 CS Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medallist, the 2018 CS U.S. Classic bronze medallist, and a two-time Australian national champion (2016, 2018). At the junior level, she was the 2017 World Junior champion, the 2017 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, the 2016 JGP Estonia champion and the 2017 JGP Latvia champion.

Alexandrovskaya died of suicide by jumping on 18 July 2020 in Moscow. Law enforcement officials found a note in her apartment containing the word "люблю" ("I love"). She had previously attempted suicide after an injury.Personal life
