Gloria Gail Yancey, 70 of Avon, passed away August 05, 2020. She was born on March 17, 1950 in Gary, Indiana, to the late Robert and Norma Lindborg Berg. Gloria received her bachelor's degree from Indiana State University.
Having worked for the Indiana University School of Medicine - Ruth Lilly Medical Library for many years in the Interlibrary Loan Department (Document Delivery Services later named Content Management & Delivery). She was a member of the Avon United Methodist Church.
Gloria was an avid reader, bicyclist, enjoyed hiking and playing with the church hand bell choir. She had a lifelong love of music and playing the piano. Most of all she loved her family and was an amazing Mom.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Yancey; son, Sean Yancey; daughter, Kaitlyn Yancey and brother, Brian (Jean) Berg.
