On the morning of January 13, 1972 the Death Angel came into the home of Brother Willis Hamlin and with chilly fingers sealed the lips of our faithful member. Brother Hamlin was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hamlin, He was born May 23, 1903 in Rodessa, LA. He joined the Antioch Baptist Church in his early age and lived a Christian until death. He was first married to Sis. Lurlean Turner, and lived with her until she passed. Later he was married to Sis, Ida Johnson. He leaves to mourn: a wife, two sisters, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
