Lorraine M. Margotta
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Lorraine M. Margotta, our devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on May 10th, 2020.

Born December 12th, 1934, to James and Margaret McGuckin, Lorraine and her late brother, Patrick, grew up in Bloomfield. Lorraine's whole world was her family. Married to the love of her life, the late Anthony Margotta Sr., they raised four beautiful children together. Surviving are her children, son Anthony Margotta Jr., daughter Laura Leonardo and her husband Anthony, beloved grandmother to Michelle and Lainie Mae, and sister-in-law, Katherine Bisaccia. Lorraine is now in heaven with her two late children - daughter Michelle Margotta and son Patrick Margotta.

Matriarch to the family, mother to all that knew her. Lorraine was known for her infectious laugh, welcoming home and beautiful soul. She loved dance, horse racing, pottery, talking to her best friend since the 7th grade, Vivian Racioppi, and cooking big Italian meals for the family. She will be so missed but will continue to live on in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
