Mrs. Sarah Ann Hicks, the wife of Newell Hicks, died Thursday, June 28, 1904, aged 68 years. Mrs. Hicks came to this community about five years ago and during that time has made many warm friends. She was married to Wm Hicks 52 years ago and has been a faithful wife and a loving mother. Three sons and one daughter, besides her husband, are left to mourn her loss. For many years she has been a faithful member of the Disciple Church. The funeral was on Thursday at 10:00 o'clock from the house and interment in the Fife Lake Cemetery.
