Mrs. Alger was born May 26, 1908 in Delhi, the daughter of George T and Lula (Dudley)
Smith She first married Claude DuBois. who died in 1952. She married Richard Alger on May 18, 1958. She was a resident of Stamford most of her life, previously living
in Goshen and Meridale. She was for many years the manager of the Stamford Victory Market. She was a member of the Meredith Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband; six sons, Carlington DuBois of Stamford, Claude DuBois of Otisville, Dudley DuBois of Jonestown, Pa., Clayton DuBois of Liberty, Robert DuBois of Fort Myers, Fla., and Kenneth DuBois of Middletown; a half brother Glen Beams of Aften, 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
